How to clean windows 8 with disk clean up tool

This article describes the complete procedure on how to utilize the disk clean up utility in Windows 8 to clear memory from the hard drive of your computer. Before we start with the guide, let me give you a brief description on disk clean up and its uses.
The disk clean up utility is a inbuilt tool available on all versions Windows versions, this tool is used to free up the memory space on any folder in the hard disk of your PC. The tool carefully removes the files and folders which are further not useful and ensures not to loose any important data or a system file which is very safe. With disk clean up utility you can also choose the files and folders which you wish to delete from your PC.
You can use this tool; to delete temporary internet files, downloaded program files includes files from internet, Windows temporary files, unused files and Windows components, programs that are installed but not used and also helps to clear recycle bin.
Below given procedure shows how to open and use this tool on Windows 8.

Steps to use Disk clean up utility:

  1. First click on START and select Search in metro screen as shown below.
Now select Apps which you see on the right side of the screen, and type ‘disk cleanup’ in the search box, now that you can find Disk Cleanup tab on the left side, click on it to open.
Select the drives which you want to clean up and click OK. (here I’ve selected ‘C drive’)
Now you can see the Disk clean up page of the drive you selected.

Best way to enable Windows XP in Windows 8 boot-loader.

This article gives you the procedure on how to choose the operating system between Windows XP and Windows 8 installed on same computer. I recently installed Windows 8 operating system to my PC, before installation my earlier version was Windows XP on which I used to work. Before I started with Windows 8 installation I selected a different drive for it, so that I could use it as a dual-boot system where I can choose either XP or W 8. After installation I restarted the system but I couldn’t see any option to choose my earlier version i.e., XP, later I was confused and thought all my XP operating system files are deleted from the PC and I’ll be not able to access it once again. And I think many users would have faced this situation, if you are one of them then no need to worry about. Just go through the below given steps which helps you to enable both operating system on same PC.

How to enable and choose Windows XP in Windows 8 boot loader:

Step 1: Open your Windows 8 desktop page and click on the folder as shown below.
Now click and open COMPUTER icon as shown below.

Here in the new page opened you can see an option called System Properties,
Click on it and a pop up window comes out called System.
: Click on ‘Advanced system settings’.

In the System properties window, click on Settings which is indicated below in
the Red box .

Here you go; this is where you need to make a simple change in the settings,
Under ‘startup and recovery’ click the drop down menu arrow of
Default operating system and select ‘earlier version of Windows’
as shown in the screen shot below. After that click on OK.
That’s it now you have successfully selected Windows XP (earlier operating system)  to display in the boot loader page, now you can restart you computer and select either Windows XP or Windows 8 for your use

full Windows 8 coming on February 2012...So be ready for real totturials with me

Sources close to Microsoft have informed TNW that the public Windows 8 beta will be released in late February of 2012.
The timing of the public beta launch has been the subject of much debate in the technology community. It is expected that Windows 8 will be released in 2012, but the exact expected date for the completion and shipping of the forthcoming operating system remains undisclosed. However, knowing the release time frame of the beta itself allows us to better project when the work should be done on the Windows 8 project.
TNW previously spent a good deal of time employing Windows 7′s release milestones in a Windows 8 context, estimating that Windows 8 should be released to manufacturers (RTM) in June. Given the newly known ‘late February’ planned beta release, our estimate remains possible, if perhaps a bit optimistic.
I was unable to confirm exactly what will be in the beta itself. The feature set is not yet nailed down. It will be decided, as always, by the engineers working on the project deciding which components are ready for release. So, no word yet on the email function currently missing from the developer preview of the OS, and if it will be in the beta.  We’ll keep you up to date as we hear from our sources.
While February is perhaps farther off than some were hoping, Windows 8 continues to make progress, and assuming Microsoft makes this milestone we think it should still be on track for its expected third quarter launch next year. That means it could be, unless something goes horribly wrong, on hardware everywhere for the next holiday sales cycle.
