When i executed an application to install in Windows 8 it prompted me for user account control processed it and it was redirected to Turn Windows Features on or off (add or remove windows component in windows XP), the window popped up and displaying An application has requested to following changes to Windows, this feature is newly added to windows 8, When you run and application it’ll automatically detect the windows feature what features to enable, In Windows XP andWindows 7 we use to get a popup message that this program requires .net….etc.. Users didn’t know what to install to run the program they use to take help form administrator to turn on the Windows Features, Now in Windows 8 it detects automatically and prompt you to turn it on
